For a gaussian beam injected with a lens into a single mode fiber, calculates the position of the conjugated beam waist and the coupling ratio as functions of the focal length, the incident beam waist radius and position, the fiber optic mode radius, the wavelength, the transmission coefficient at the fiber entrance and the eventual misalignments of the fiber. It is assumed that without misalignments, the fiber optic entrance is centered on the propagation axis and is coinciding with the the conjugated beam waist.
