about
This page is related to the use of a Scmidt plate enabling the reduction of the spherical aberration induced by a spherical mirror for an object at infinity. It calculates the thickness variation of the Schmidt plate at a certain height (compared to the thickness on the optical axis) as a function of the aperture diameter, the mirror radius, the refraction index of the Scmidt plate and the considered height.
